ARRANGING TOURS
When arranging tours, it is easier to organise fixtures if your host country is at school. Tours during holiday periods are possible but fixtures are difficult and may often be grouped close together.
Generally the best time for Australia schools touring is September and October.
To help you plan your tours:
- European schools are on holiday from June - end of August.
- South East Asian Schools are similar. They return to school in early January and so the last three weeks of January for touring is fine.
- South African Schools have similar term times to Australia although the private schools are still at school in July.
- North American Schools are on holiday from June - beginning of August.
- All countries have holidays around Easter, however it may be possible to tour before or after the holiday.
